The King Palm is one of the most Beautiful palms in California. Originally from Queensland, Austraila, they are unique to North America growing only in two places, Southern Florida and in Southern California from Santa Barbara to San Diego. They are very elegant and graceful having a smooth trunk and feather type branches that are self cleaning (no trimming necessary).

The crown shaft on the King is smooth and green in color. When the King is mature it produces a seed pod that opens and displays multiple strings of pearls that are actually flowers that bees pollinate to begin development of the seed. With bright green colored fronds the King Palm adds a cool feel of the tropics around your yard.  |

Unique also to the King Palm is it's elegant curved trunks when grown from seeds planted together. These are known as multi's or specimen trees and become very valuable.
