Ok Kids, get in line.....

At 3 months old the babies are getting big and it's hard to tell the 3 of them apart they are so similar in size. The babies hit their top weights about 2 weeks ago ( 1480 to 1550 + grams) and then went through a week of wanting to eat a little less. That lasted a few days and now they are all eating like little pigs again. They all have a long ways to go before weaning but this is one of the first steps. In the wild and in captivity once they hit their top weights they start the sliming process. In the wild this would be to help them get off the ground for their first flights. It's hard enough to get up in the air the first time, let alone having to get a large bottom off the ground. They have only begun to flap a little and have months to go before the first flight. For now they have all decided to postpone the real weaning part for a little longer and have started to chow down at each feeding again.
