Blue Fronted Amazon

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. Jake is doing great. He is absolutely beautiful. I
have never seen a blue-front with as much blue on his head as Jake. The
picture I've attached shows his color the best since it was taken outdoors in
Nashville when we took Jake down to Jeff's sister a few month's ago.
Jake can now imitate every electronic sound in our house. The most
annoying is when he imitates the paging of our cordless phone. He usually
adds, hello and then calls out the name of our 18 year old daughter. Jake can
sing about half of the song God Bless America (so far) and another song called
Praise Ye the Lord. which includes the word Hallelujah, which he loves. He
can whistle the first few measures of the Marines Hymn and several other
whistles including the one we use to call our dog into the house. When we let
the dog out Jake often starts saying "go to your pen" repeatedly followed by
the whistle and the dogs name. He has fooled all of us at one time or another
with his exact imitations of calling our names. Needless to say we get great
enjoyment and amusement from Jake on a regular basis.
